Course description: This course is for students enrolled in the French Pathway for completion of a French OSSD.

This course is designed to help you develop the communication skills needed for success in your secondary school academic programs and in your daily lives. Students will develop critical and creative thinking skills as they analyse literary texts from contemporary and historical periods; interpret the ideas, information, and messages in informational and media texts; and create texts in a variety of forms. An important emphasis throughout the course is on strategies that contribute to clear, correct, and effective communication.
