TVO Learn
What is TVO Learn?
TVO Learn is an online digital learning environment that offers comprehensive resources to support learning for both Elementary (K-8) and Secondary (9-12) students.
TVO Learn resources are completely free for Ontario residents and have no advertisements or purchase requirements of any kind.
Who created the learning content?
Our digital learning resources are created or curated by Ontario Certified Teachers and go through equity and inclusion reviews by curriculum and subject-matter specialists. All content aligns with the K-12 Ontario curriculum. Learning materials are designed in compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act. TVO Learn is approved by the Ontario Ministry of Education.
What are the TVO Learn system requirements?
TVO Learn resources are available for desktop computers, laptops and iPad tablets. Smartphones and other tablets are currently not supported. We recommend using the following web browsers for the best user experience: Chrome version 36+ (Microsoft Windows); Safari 5+, Chrome version 36+ (Mac); and Safari on iOS 6+ (iPad).
What personal information is collected by TVO Learn?
TVO Learn only stores information that you provide. We use aggregated anonymous data to help improve TVOLearn.com. Please visit our Privacy Notice for more information.
Where can I find the Teacher Guides referenced in Learning Activities?
If you are an Ontario educator, you will be able to access Teacher Guides through the Ontario Ministry of Education’s Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) once they are released.

What is happening to mPower?
In 2023, we rebranded mPower to TVO Learn mPower as the first step in bringing all our learning resources together. This journey continues as we consolidate our platforms to create a more seamless experience. Starting September 2025, learners can access all 65+ math games directly on the TVO Learn website — no login required. Behind the scenes, we’re working hard to enhance the experience for learners, educators, and parents/guardians alike. We’re excited for what’s coming next — stay tuned!
Games - For Educators
What’s changing for educators?
Starting September 2025, educator-specific features like the Educator’s Portal, Assessment Reports, and Classroom Gallery will no longer be available.
Why are these features being removed?
We’re shifting focus to a more streamlined, learner-first experience and simplifying access to games.
Can I download my information from the Educator Portal and Classroom Gallery?
Educators will be able to export or download any materials from the Educator portal such as individual learner Assessment Reports or Community Gallery posts until August 15, 2025.
Will there be new tools for educators in the future?
We’re actively working on enhancing the overall experience. Stay tuned for future updates designed in collaboration with educators.
Can I still use the games in my classroom?
Absolutely! All games will remain accessible on TVO Learn without login, making it even easier to integrate into lessons.

What’s changing for learners?
Starting in September 2025, learners will be able to access all 65+ of their favourite math games directly on the TVO Learn website under the Games section — no login needed! While the mPower Worlds experience will no longer be available, learners can jump straight into the games for fun, interactive learning anytime.
Do I need a username or password to play?
Nope! Starting September 2025, learners can jump right into the games — no login needed.

Can my child still play their favourite mPower games? Are the games still the same?
Yes —learners can access all 65+ math games directly on the TVO Learn website — no login required.
Will my child’s progress be saved?
Since login is no longer required, progress tracking features will not be available. However, the games are designed to be engaging and educational in every session.
Do I need to install anything?
No installation is needed. All games are browser-based and can be played directly from the TVO Learn website.
