Grade 7 Mathematics

Students study the circle, learning to measure circumference, diameter, radiu,s and area. They find the surface area and volume of cylinders and other three-dimensional objects. Students also learn how to dilate, enlarge, and shrink a shape.

This Learning Activity is divided into three sections. Adults should guide children through it in the following order:

1. Minds On: Introduces the learning concepts to be explored in the Learning Activity.
2. Action: Offers a focused activity to explore the content and discover key concepts.
3. Consolidation: Provides students with an opportunity to deepen understanding and reflect on learning.
