Learning Activity

Students will analyse data displayed in ways that show the relationship between two variables. They compare the outcomes of more complex experiments.

This Learning Activity is divided into three sections. Adults should guide children through it in the following order:

Minds On: Introduces the learning concepts to be explored in the Learning Activity.
Action: Offers a focused activity to explore the content and discover key concepts.
Consolidation: Provides students with an opportunity to deepen understanding and reflect on learning.

Data

Students will continue to build their Data skills. They will analyse Data that is presented in more complex ways, such as in scatter plots, that show the relationship between two variables. In addition, students continue to increase their understanding of probability by comparing the outcomes of more complex experiments.
